Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This policy explains what data Tollabi Online collects, how we use and protect it, and your rights over it, in line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, phone number, email, profile photo (optional) and password (stored hashed, we can't read it).
  • Teaching data: classes and sessions, attendance records, homework, answers, attached files and grades, and the student code and QR code.
  • Relationship data: class join requests, guardian–student links, and assistant–teacher links and permissions.
  • Payment data (teachers): plan, amount, transfer method, sender details and receipt photo. We do not collect bank card data.
  • Technical data: error logs and the browser/device information needed to run and secure the platform.

2. How we use data

  • To provide the service: classes, sessions, attendance and homework, shown only to the users concerned.
  • To verify email addresses, secure accounts and prevent abuse.
  • To send service notifications (join requests, homework, grades, subscriptions).
  • To review payments and activate subscriptions.
  • To improve the platform and fix errors.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Who can see your data

  • Teachers: their class students' data, attendance, answers and grades.
  • Assistants: their teacher's data, within the permissions the teacher gives them.
  • Guardians: only the data of the children who accepted their guardianship request.
  • Students: only their own data, sessions and homework.
  • The platform team: when needed to run the service, review payments and solve issues.

4. Service providers

We rely on trusted providers that process data only on our behalf: application and database hosting, uploaded files storage (Cloudflare R2 in the European Union, reachable only through the platform by the people allowed to see them), email delivery (verification and account recovery codes), and error tracking. Some data may be processed on servers outside Egypt, while staying protected.

5. Cookies

We only use essential cookies: to log you in and keep your session, and to remember your language. We do not use advertising trackers.

6. Data retention

  • We keep your account data while you use the platform.
  • When you delete your account its personal data is deleted; some financial records may be kept for as long as the law requires.
  • Accounts that are never activated may be deleted a month after registration.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access rules that limit every user to their own data, and limits on login and verification attempts. No system is 100% secure, so keep your password secret.

8. Children's data

Many students are under 18, so guardians can follow their children, and students must use the platform with their guardian's knowledge. A guardian can contact us to access or delete their child's data.

9. Your rights

  • Access and correct your data from your account page.
  • Delete your account and its data at any time.
  • Object to the processing of your data or request a copy of it by contacting us.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will notify you of material changes on the platform.

For any question about your data contact us at 01140073412.
